Submission of Articles for Scots Law Times
The Editorial Team is always pleased to receive contributions of articles on subjects of
topical interest to Scots Law Times readers, especially those commenting on recent
case law or legislative developments, new legislation about to come into force or
still in passage, or other proposals for reform.
All contributions received will be read by
one or more of the editorial team and the author advised of their acceptability for
publication with or without modifications. We will send authors a proof to revise
prior to publication.
The optimum length is about 3,000 words but shorter contributions are welcome
and it may be possible to accommodate longer contributions where the subject matter
requires, depending on space available.
Contributions should be submitted by email or on Word formatted disk;
if the latter an accompanying printout would be helpful. Footnotes should be
avoided, any references being incorporated into the text. A one or two sentence
summary to appear at the beginning of the article would also be helpful but
will be prepared editorially if not provided.
A fee will be paid in return for assignation of copyright to W. Green & Son.
In addition the author will receive a copy of the issue of publication.
All inquiries as to possible contributions, and all submissions of copy, should be made to:
